A GT BIO IT meeting took place March 3rd. Each floor was reviewed for IT requirements with IT vendor and architects. Future discussions will continue on the IT requirements.

The exterior of connectivity to the building was discussed and reviewed. Further decisions on this will be reviewed after a site visit is done.

The conference room AV and ITV design continues to be reviewed. Once a decision has been made on the conference room design, the AV and ITV groups can make their decisions on their designs.

A meeting was held on January 6th, 2010 that involved the college administration to discuss the conference room floor plan. It was decided that the conference room will be capable of splitting in half rather than quarters. A meeting was schedule for Jan 20th, 2010 with the NE and cabling to groups to review the amount of fiber required for the infrastructure connectivity in the building and out of the building.

There has been discussions with facilities on the ground floor layout of the IT areas. Additional questions related to IT design continue to trickle in. This discussion is in the infant stages of negotiation.

The project is still in the programming and design phase.

Germantown Update

The Germantown Bioscience project continues with the architect, enginneers and facilities on the programming and design of the building. On March 17th and 18th MCG BE SD On Board Review meetings were held for continuing building discussion on design.

A meeting is setup (April 11th) with the AV group, facilities and the client to review AV equipment.

A meeting is setup with the ITV group (April 28th) to review their requirements for the building.
